Ending the Cycle of Child Homelessness https://pathwaystohome.org/ending-the-cycle-of-child-homelessness/ Wed, 25 Jul 2012 04:00:30 +0000 https://pathwaystohome.org/?p=269 Read More]]> Every morning, over two thousand children in Seminole County wake up without a place to call home. The numbers are increasing each day.

Pathways to Home is a collaborative of non-profit agencies, government entities, concerned citizens and the faith-based community, working together to help families with children identify their strengths and develop an individualized plan that will guide them to financial independence and personal well-being.

Pathways to Home Case Managers provide services through a comprehensive case management model called Family Team Conferencing. By empowering each family to find solutions to improve their quality of life, they will achieve long-term stability.

With the support of the community, Pathways to Home can provide hope and guidance to families as they rebuild their lives and end the cycle of homelessness. Please join Pathways to Homein making a critical difference in the lives of homeless families…one family at a time.

John’s story https://pathwaystohome.org/johns-story/ Sat, 11 Feb 2012 21:29:35 +0000 https://pathwaystohome.org/?p=77 Read More]]> I want to thank each and every one of the Pathways to Home employees. You all are such Angels (you may not know it yet but in my eyes I see it). You gave so much time & love to me & my boys. You helped me out when I thought no one was there. You all gave me hope when I thought I was lost. The greatest part of this past year was moving in a home with my children, again.

I have so many hurdles & bumps still to travel upon, but I am strong and believe I can do it all alone. You have helped me realize that I am a strong person, I sometimes lost faith in myself but Sharon you never once let me think I was a failure. The push and drive you have given me never let me down. Sometimes I never wanted to do things but it was you on the phone saying “you can do this” and your drive was so powerful.

If there is any way I can ever help in the future please don’t hesitate to call on me. I will keep in touch. You have not gotten rid of me yet. I love each and every one of you. You all will always have a special place in my heart, and never forget what you all have done.
